Whatever you want to call us - a public market, a food hall, or just a great place to hang out - we're here to celebrate local food. Our indoor market features specialized food vendors (including several vegan and gluten-free options!), a bar serving the best local beers and ciders, and art by local community artists - talented high school and Carolina students and graduates. Our vendors serve fresh food, prepared food to go, and offer catering services. Blue Dogwood also hosts a variety of activities, special events, and meetups.

We were informed on Tuesday, December 15th that one of our own has tested positive - they are quarantining at home and we wish them a quick recovery and so much love. Blue Dogwood is shut down until further notice, pending a market cleaning following CDC guidelines and negative test results for our workers. Individual businesses will re-open once their teams have tested negative and they’re ready to do so.
We feel lucky that we’ve made it this far without dealing with the inevitable, but it’s turning into a rough year’s end for our small businesses. Please stay tuned for how to support us in the coming weeks.

Carrying on as we have been. Safely.
Blue Dogwood greatly appreciates all the support over the last few months. We feel thankful for the ability to safely serve takeout and curbside. We feel thankful for the opportunity to test different foods, marketing strategies, and business models. We feel thankful that we’re able to give back to our community in a myriad of ways. These are strange times, but we’re so lucky to have a community of folks behind us who really *get* what Blue Dogwood is all about.
That being said, we’re carrying on as we have been, until we deem it safe to do otherwise. Vendors will continue to do their own thing, and Blue Dogwood will continue to support however we can. Logistics will still differ from vendor to vendor, so please reach out directly. Takeout and curbside will continue, and customers will be asked to remain outside. Patio furniture will continue to be spaced at least 6’ apart, which will be marked visually (today’s assignment is figuring out how to use spray chalk - so get at us with tips?).
We understand that many are not ready to venture out yet, and we *get* that. We’re still so thankful for your support. Please continue to share on social media, drop us a Yelp review, tell your friends, or send some good vibes our way. During these uncertain times, we're here for you.
Since we opened in June 2018, we've always said that we have the best customers in the world. Friendly, supportive, kind. We've had endless conversations where you've inspired us by your words, supported us with your encouragement, and entertained us with your stories. As any new business is wont to do, we've blundered along the way, but you've always been there to help us up. Our goal was always to build a community where all could come together and enjoy some damn good food. Ya'll will always means all at Blue Dogwood.

We've always focused on local and supporting small farmers and producers; we are acutely aware of food allergies and restrictions; we're already equipped for takeout service; the market itself is spacious; and our convenient parking lots make curbside easy.
We will continue to work every day to support our customers, our vendors, our small business friends, and our community. We will continue to try to fulfill unmet needs.
