VENDOR REQUIREMENTS:
If selected, must reserve a specific vendor space with a deposit:
  • Existing business: 1 month of total charges ($500 minimum)
  • New business: 2 months of total charges ($1000 minimum)
 
Sign up for ServSafe certification and training if needed (if serving food or renting kitchen time):
  • Must comply with all health inspections and health code requirements for a vendor stall
 
Sign a 1-year lease, renewable by mutual agreement and including the following terms:
  • Security deposit for space transferred over to the lease
  • Common area expenses charge, including common area janitorial, trash dumpster, water, parking lot maintenance and security
  • Obtain insurance with standard limits of $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate for general and product liability either through vendor’s own insurance agent or insurance from Blue Dogwood’s insurance carrier
  • “Total rent” paid monthly by ACH
 
Complete orientation for new vendors:
  • Covers how Blue Dogwood operates, rules and policies, facility orientation, and Standard Operating Procedures for food safety
  • If using the commissary kitchen, vendors must complete the kitchen orientation, agree to the Standard Operating Procedures for food safety, and sign a licensing agreement

Market hours:
  • Commit to be open during minimum market hours with penalties for non-compliance
